Vacuum circuit breakers BB/TEL on a power harmonic filter at Voestalpine, a steel company. 

Together with the filter manufacturer ESE, Brazil has implemented a project involving installation vacuum circuit breakers on the power harmonic filter at Voestalpine company.
One of the important indicators of power quality for metal companies is the nonsinusoidal supply voltage. Such nunsinusoidal voltage caused by frequency converters and other nonlinear loads has a negative impact on industrial circuits compromising reliability and service life of electrical equipment. One of the main and promising measures reducing the influence of frequency converters on a power network and thus improving the voltage quality is to use parallel resonant LC-filters set to the frequencies of typical harmonics in the current spectra introduced by converters in industrial 6-10 kV networks.
