New South American office strengthens Tavrida’s global reach

Tavrida Electric, the world’s leading manufacturer of reclosers, has recently opened a Sales and Support office in Argentina to better serve its growing number of South American customers.

The new office shows the increasing importance of Tavrida Electric’s South American business and provides Spanish-speaking customers with ever more access to the company’s products and technology.

Tavrida Electric is not a new player in the South American market. The first office was opened in Brazil back in 2011 and since then, several thousands of Tavrida Electric reclosers have been installed there. Earlier this year, Tavrida Electric won several additional large tenders in South America, thanks in no small part to the company’s Rec15 series reclosers that are exported to more than 80 countries, including others in South America. The reclosers provide the foundations of contemporary Smart Grid set-ups.

The new office is headed-up by Mr. Diego Diaz, an industry expert with more than 10 years of experience in business development, market research and regional sales.

The new office also strengthens Tavrida Electric’s position as the undisputed leader in medium voltage smart switchgear and reclosers manufacturing.
