Tavrida Electric supplied recloser for the pilot project in Bulgaria
Tavrida Electric has supplied and commissioned a recloser within the framework of a pilot project for the automation of a 20 kV distribution network in Bulgaria. The project has been executed together with the ENERGO-PRO electric utility. The recloser was successfully installed and integrated into the SCADA system for both remote control and monitoring from the dispatch center. Furthermore, a training was conducted for the technical stuff of ENERGO-PRO and contractors who are responsible for further maintenance of Tavrida Electric’s equipment.The operational service of the electric utility highlighted the following advantages of Tavrida Electric’s automatic reclosers over other manufacturers:
- Maintenance-free equipment throughout the entire lifetime;
- Compact size significantly reduces the time required for assembly and installation;
Voltage sensors on both sides of the circuit breaker allow the use of reclosers in a ring network without any additional expenses.In the opinion of the utility’s expert team, Tavrida Electric reclosers meet all the requirements of operational reliability and ensure the efficient operation of the distribution network. New projects are planned for implementation in 2018.
