Tavrida Electric has taken part in Middle East Electricity; the world’s largest power exhibition attended by more than 20,000 visitors from 126 countries, held at the prestigious Dubai World Trade Centre.

Tavrida Electric was among more than 1,500 exhibitors showcasing power industry-related products and services. His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, was in attendance, and Tavrida Electric enjoyed visits from Serbian, Macedonian and Jordanian representatives as well as those from other countries with which the company already does business.

Successful negotiations were also conducted with representatives from countries new to Tavrida, such as the Philippines, Sri-Lanka, Pakistan, Algeria and Tunisia. There were also many visitors from Iran, in line with the recent removal of trade sanctions.

In addition, Tavrida Electric’s exhibition stand was visited by major energy grid companies, including the Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). Tavrida Electric operates the Smart Grid project with FEWA; a project based on Rec15 reclosers.

This year, Tavrida Electric Export showcased various products including the world’s fastest medium-voltage vacuum circuit breakers and its application: One Cycle Interruption (12ms) and Fast Transfer Switch (30ms).

In addition to Tavrida employees, the exhibition stand was staffed by members of partner company Power Engineering Technologies (PET) Ltd which has offices in Abu-Dhabi, Dubai (UAE) and Doha (Qatar).

The exhibition helped Tavrida Electric strengthen business relations with existing partners and build new relations with potential clients.
