SMART35 in Uzbekistan
Tavrida Electric has supplied and commissioned 2 SMART35 reclosers for the largest gas processing plant in Uzbekistan.The reclosers are the core element intended for increasing the reliability of the power supply system for this client. Smart35 reclosers were installed to ensure an uninterrupted power supply for the automation and telecontrol of the crane mounts on the main pipelines in the complex under construction.
At the end of November, the next stage of automation, the 10 kV distribution network, is expected to begin. This will include the installation of 21 reclosers and the integration of them into the SCADA system for remote monitoring and control from the central dispatch center of LUKOIL.
The construction of this gas processing plant and the development of the Kandym gas fields are the largest project undertaken by LUKOIL in Uzbekistan. The complex, with its capacity of 8.1 billion cubic meters of gas a year, will produce purified natural gas, stable gas condensate and sulfuric acid. Investments in the development project of the Kandym gas fields has exceeded $ 4.5 billion.
