Energetab: the best fair for 30 years!
In September, Tavrida Electric participated in the jubilee 30th International Power Industry Fair ENERGETAB 2017 which, as always, took place in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.ENERGETAB is the most notable marketing event in the power industry, not only in Poland, but in Central Europe as a whole. Every year at the fair, the largest international corporations present their most recent products and solutions to the Polish energy sector. ENERGETAB is a great opportunity to highlight your market position, meet with customers and establish new business contacts. This year the fair attracted more than 700 exhibitors from over a dozen countries in both Europe and Asia.
This year Tavrida Electric presented its Rec15/25 recloser and KTW outdoor circuit-breaker, as well as the ISM15/25 indoor vacuum circuit-breakers including TRW –a radio controlled vacuum circuit-breaker with a protection element. Although the Rec15/25 recloser is already a well-known product in Poland, the Tavrida Electric stand was visited by many engineers interested in its technical details.
During ENERGETAB 2017, Tavrida Electric maintained its association with existing users, further developed these business relationships and established solid contacts with potential new customers.
The history of ENERGETAB dates back to 1984. It was a tough time for Poland in general and therefore also for its power industry. It was difficult to buy the necessary equipment to maintain an efficient operation of systems providing both generation and distribution of electric energy. In order to solve this problem it was decided to spread some good ideas around and so, in 1984, the first fair was organized in Bielsko-Biala. It lasted five days and its purpose was to present the latest inventions and innovations that were current among particular electricity companies, power plants or design bureaus and to propagate them among other organizations.
At first, such events were organized every two years. In 1992 the first producers of apparatus used in the power industry also participated, and this led to a significant increase in the number of exhibitors and visitors. In that year, it was decided to organize the event annually, and this has continued up to the present day, reaching its 30th anniversary in 2017.
Over those 30 years ENERGETAB became the premier electrical energy fair in Poland and Central Europe. The fair is an international event, and this is reflected in the large number of foreign exhibitors, foreign visitors and the number of international companies that have manufacturing plants in Poland that always participate in this event.
