Tavrida Electric smashes target in CEMIG acceptance test

Engineers from Companhia Energética de Minas Gerais (CEMIG), one of the largest Brazilian utility companies, recently visited Tavrida Electric’s factories in Russia to see our high standards of production and quality control, first hand.

The engineers observed high voltage testing of Tavrida products in an independent laboratory. The visit was part of a technical prequalification process (factory acceptance tests) and all were very impressed by our technological procedures, levels of compliance and quality control. While the required pass mark was 60%, Tavrida scored a remarkable 90%.

The successful tests mean Tavrida Electric remains the number one recloser supplier in Brazil. Several thousand Tavrida Electric reclosers are already operating across the South American nation, helping to improve power supply reliability.
