Tavrida Electric connects PPP in Belarus

In the Mogilev region (the Republic of Belarus), Tavrida Electric has completed a project to connect the new 10 MW photovoltaic power plant to the 35 kV Kirovsk-Kaplanovka-ChGES overhead line with the installation of the Smart35 recloser.

The technical specifications required by the design office of Mogilevenergo necessitated the installation of the Smart35 recloser together with a disconnector since the connection was made directly to the overhead line. This equipment needed to be integrated into the existing SCADA system to enable the monitoring of measurements and alarms, as well as for remote dispatch control.

To minimize the project execution time, Tavrida supplied a prefabricated solution that included a Smart35 recloser and disconnector mounted on a supporting frame.
