The MD and HD VCBs have successfully passed type tests

Tavrida Electric proudly announces that its new generation of vacuum circuit breakers – MD and HD series have successfully passed type tests in world-renowned KEMA test-laboratories in Netherlands.
During several weeks in April 2019 MD and HD series circuit breakers were subjected to dielectric, temperature rise, mechanical and other tests in accordance with
IEC 62271-100 (and IEEE PC37.09/D4.0:2018).
All the tests were successfully completed
and corresponding certificates are being prepared by KEMA.

KEMA Laboratories is world class testing and certification test lab known for its rigorous testing procedures. The certificates issued by KEMA serve as a proof of switchgear performance, quality and reliability.
The new generation of Tavrida Electric circuit breakers are higher rated versions of the time-proven Tavrida Electric circuit breakers, renowned for exceptional reliability, operational speed, dimensions and maintenance free design.

Using the same single-axis design philosophy as the LD series, the MD and HD series bring even more innovation in a compact package. The new breakers are rated to the currents as high as 1250 A (MD breaker) and 3150 A (HD breaker) continuous and 31.5 kA short-time and interrupting.
The new VCBs are also available in a withdrawable configuration complete with the rack-in cassette, guide-arms, tulip contacts and safety interlocks. Draw-out units can also be easily integrated into existing switchgear designs.
