Tavrida Manages Power Supply For Multi-million Dollar UAE Project
Tavrida Electric is managing the electricity supply for 1,580 new residencies in a $980 million development project in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi.
Tavrida products were chosen for the supply and installation of 63 substations within a tight timescale. Each substation includes four air-insulated MILE switchgear units. To meet customer requirements, a closed loop electricity network was built.
Each year, the UAE government invests significant money and effort to build comfortable residential developments supported by extensive infrastructure. In this case, nine different architectural styles of houses were constructed with unique configurations and style, but all maintain the distinctive spirit of traditional Arabic architecture. There are five districts with a social centre, park, school, medical centre, shops and mosque in each.
