Tavrida Electric’s innovative solutions cause a stir at Brazil’s CINASE 2016

Tavrida Electric recently impressed customers at CINASE 2016, a major power industry exhibition in Brazil, by showcasing innovative solutions to the country’s power challenges.

From October 13 th to the 14th, 2016 the CINASE 2016 event was held in Curitiba, the capital and largest city of the state of Parana. The event brings together key power industry players from across the region and provides the opportunity to experience the very latest in electrical engineering. Participating in partnership with A.CABINE MATERIAIS ELÉTRICOS – a Brazilian group specialising in electric power protection solutions – we showcased vacuum circuit breakers and Arc-safe switchgear solutions, which caused significant interest.

Current switchgear technology in Brazil, which has the largest electricity market in South America, doesn’t meet the growing challenges brought by ever increasing demand. The country's power distribution network is extensive and characterised by long lines and frequent failures.

During the exhibition, Tavrida Electric’s Sergio Wakita, an industry expert with more than 30 years’ experience, gave a presentation outlining the main benefits our circuit breakers specifically in relation to Brazil. He emphasised three important features in particular: Tavrida Electric’s circuit breakers are versatile and easy to use; they are exceptionally safe and reliable; and they require less servicing and initial start-up costs.

In the same way that our products generated excitement, Mr. Wakita’s presentation attracted much interest and many interactions. Afterwards, a constant throng of visitors was shown to our stand where customers had the chance to test our solutions and talk with our team.

Safer, more compact, high performance switchgear is essential in Brazil to improve the country’s power supply reliability. Tavrida Electric’s circuit breakers have the potential to help the country boost generation and transmission capacity and in turn, to support the improved performance of key national industries.

Tavrida Electric would like to thank the event organisers, attendees and other exhibitors for making the exhibition such a stand out event in the power industry calendar.
