DistribuTech 2012 was hosted in San Antonio, Texas, from January 24-26. The exhibition was well attended by utilities, and Tavrida Electric was proud to present several new products – The OSM_Al_4 series is a “triple-single” recloser for the US and Canadian market with a SEL-651R control, rated up to 27kV and 150kV BIL, with six integrated voltage sensors and three current sensors.

Tavrida Electric has revolutionized circuit breaker design by developing a new generation of circuit breakers and controls with exceptionally fast opening, closing and response times. This enables transfer times as fast as 2 cycles with the SEL 451 in a closed transition (“make before break”) and less than 3 cycles for an open transition (“break before make”).

In addition Rec35_Smart_7 was shown with a unique vertical mount which can be used both as a recloser and also as an outdoor circuit breaker.
